This "smart" cane light turns itself on only when cane is in use and light is low
How clever can a cane light be? This one features automatic operation—it’s motion activated AND also able to recognize low ambient light. When you pick it up in the dark, the main illuminating light turns on and remains on as long as cane is in use! Very smart!
There’s also a tiny night beacon that flashes periodically so you can find the cane in, say, a dark bedroom. And unlike built-in cane lights that shine straight ahead, this one is designed for path illumination, with the light focused down so you can see where you’re walking.
It attaches to virtually any cane; just clip it on—no tools required. It’s rugged, too—made to withstand repeated dropping, curb contact or banging about. A low-battery LED will alert you for battery replacement. This device can help prevent injuries due to falls, trips and bumps when using a cane in dark or dimly lit areas. Requires three "AA" batteries (included).
