Telemergency PRO

The Telemergency PRO is an emergency alert device that connects to your telephone and automatically contacts 911 with the push of a button. It will also call five additional phone numbers of your choice in the event of an emergency. When someone answers, no other calls are made from the list. It comes with three pre-recorded emergency buttons (fire, medical and police), or you can record your own message. There is also one help pendant for you to wear. Additional features include battery backup, a room monitor, a controlled speakerphone and speaker-to-monitor responses.

In the event of an emergency, it’s reassuring to know that help is on the way, even if you are unable to make the call yourself. The Telemergency Pro is able to send out a pre-recorded message to either 911 (if desired) or one of five pre-saved phone numbers alerting them of your emergency. This is done by pressing either a button on the unit, or a button on the pendant that can be worn around your neck.

This helpful unit features additional buttons for up to two other situations and allows you to personalize your own messages and telephone numbers. It has a feature that allows it to "breakthrough" a Caller ID system so their system will not block the call. A called party can also stop the dialing of called telephone numbers by pressing 7 or 8 on their telephone. For example, if the system calls your son or daughter, they can then choose to press 8 on their touch-tone phone, which will call the rest of the programmed numbers in order. Or they can press 7, which will stop the rest of the calls automatically. If no one answers at any of the numbers it will keep trying for 15 minutes.

The Telemergency Pro sends out the emergency alert message again if a phone has been put down without hanging up. For instance, if your message goes out, and is picked up by a child who doesn’t understand the message, more than likely, the child will put down the phone to find an adult. This feature "listens in," and if it senses no response, will automatically send the same emergency message again. At that point, if no one has responded, it will disconnect and start dialing the other numbers. It can also operate on PBX type telephone systems that require dialing a 1, 8 or 9 before dialing the number.
